In order to meet our customers’ needs Stonetools purchase goods and services from a variety of suppliers, from local specialist suppliers to international organisations. We comply with relevant procurement legislation, codes of practice and company regulations.
All suppliers are selected by non-discriminatory processes.
Before engaging with a new supplier, the assessment process is implemented to provide clarification of suitability, appropriate certification, willingness to engage and any associated risks.
We act responsibly and professionally in all our commercial activities and in our relationships with suppliers. To ensure that we act with fairness and integrity at all times we regularly review our purchasing policy and share quality measurements and findings with all our suppliers.
Our stock control processes and checks ensure that we avoid inefficiencies such as last minute ordering from our suppliers and supply risks to our customers.
Continuous Supplier Assessment
Stonetools also conducts continuous assessment of all our key suppliers to ensure a consistent and reliable supply and service for our customers.
