These finger bits are coated with coarse diamonds that have been brazed around the working surface of the tool. This thick layer of diamond makes them durable and suitable for use on a range of materials. The diamond used in the images below is G40, the most suitable grade for tidying up areas or preparing internal edges for polishing if an undercounted sink is being installed. This choice of quality diamond also means that they will not chip or damage the material. However, they are available in a range of diamond grits, depending on the application.
Choice of Diameters for a Range of Milling Jobs
The set are available in four diameter sizes: 10mm, 20mm, 50mm and 75mm. The 10mm diameter size is very useful for milling tight corners for internal bowls and for following the desired line of a cut out accurately after the job has been started with an angle grinder blade. The 20mm diameter is perfect for enlarging drilled core holes by a few millimetres. The bottom of these drums are closed and the sides are drilled, allowing them to be used wet with a central water feed which will help to prolong their life.
The working length of these tools is 50mm which makes them ideal for worktop fabricators working by hand and for a range of jobs on-site. Each of these drums is M14 threaded so they will attach to an angle grinder.
