Non Gloss High Strength Solvent Sealer- Lithofin MN Stain-Stop

MN Stain-Stop is a ready to use sealer for stone. It is one of the highest strength sealers available to stone workers. It is solvent based and is an impregnating sealer. Impregnating sealers infiltrate under the visible surfaces of the stone and bond to the pores to create a protective layer inside the stone's structure. This means it provides optimal protection for absorbent natural and artificial stone surfaces against staining. It prevents penetration of oil, grease, and water and makes further maintenance easier. It is ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms and can be used on polished and unpolished materials.

When used on work surfaces the product is food safe, once dry, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This sealer does not leave a gloss finish or change the natural aspect of the stone. Providing stone-safe care products are used, the protection remains effective for up to 12 months for heavily used worksurface areas. Re-sealing the material is recommended every 12 months, dependent on the area.

MN Stain-Stop is available in larger sizes (5 litre or 1 litre) for fabricators and also smaller sizes (250ml) for domestic users.

Water Based - Lithofin MN Stain-Stop Eco

MN Stain-Stop Eco is a similar product to the MN Stain-Stop. It is especially suitable for rough and honed limestone and polished and honed hardstone. It is a water-based product rather than a solvent-based, which makes it the best choice for some sealing applications.

First, it is practically odourless which is ideal for use on-site or for areas inside rather than choosing other strong smelling sealers. Also, it is not essential for the surface to be completely dry before application, which can reduce downtime.

It is easy to apply the treatment and ensures the ultimate protection against water and oil stains. It can be used on polished and unpolished stone surfaces in both indoor and outdoor areas and does not change the appearance of the stone.
